Happy Monday! Here’s this week’s actuarial job summary. A special welcome to the 103 new subscribers who joined us last week.

New Feature: Profile Section on Acturhire
This past week I’ve added a Profile section to the Acturhire site. From here you can:

  • Track roles you’ve started an application for and monitor progress

  • Generate a tailored cover letter for any job

Cover letters can be a hassle to put together. Thankfully, they’re less common these days, thanks to the rise of “easy apply” jobs. However, there are still some roles that require them.

Use the cover letter generator to get a first draft - it uses your resume and the job spec to make relevant points. I recommend making edits, but this saves time and ensures you highlight key points.
